She was stood on a pile of rubble and was using her binoculars to see if she could scavenge anything valuable. ‘This is what they get,’ she thought, ‘this city is one of the most polluted cities in the world!’ Nothing of value seemed to have survived and then resurfaced in the rubble. She sighed. She had to migrate to a new city, London, the only safe place…
Josephine, formerly know as Jo by her friends, ran through the dead streets of New York. Her long hair was all over her face, but she honestly didn’t care, she just kept running. She was lost, cold and afraid. Everyone she loved was gone. She was alone, alone at last.
